About myself: I am a husband to Hannah, a father to Nate (of www.natethornton.net fame)… a runner and a small weightlifter… an avid music fan and a terrible musician… a seer of sights, a mower of lawns, an experimental waffle-maker, a political science major, a Christian, a Naval officer, a surface warrior, a former nuclear engineer, a current financial analyst, an MBA student at GWU, a bystander, a note-taker, a casual observer of this fluid universe, and a self-proclaimed wannabe who wants nothing more than to be me and free. Maybe a conservative? Maybe a libertarian? …Maybe.
